The story behind "The World Of Cans" concept:
One summer day, lacking inspiration, during a walk in nature, I cross paths, fields, forests. I can only contemplate the landscape that is offered to me. Happiness suddenly came over me, followed immediately by deep sadness. I realize that my field of vision is contaminated by waste of all kinds. I realize that the cans of Coca-Cola, Fanta, Red Bull and so many others dominate the natural soil of our precious planet.
When I get home, my thoughts are saturated. From what I had just seen. So I started researching on the net. By typing Coca-Cola in Google, I find all kinds of articles explaining the negative effects of soft drinks on the environment and health. An idea then began to sprout in my head. I start drawing.
A few days later, the first sketches are finalized to become the common thread of a series of miniature sculptures entitled "The World Of Cans", with the aim of raising awareness and denouncing the overconsumption of cans in our society.
I mainly make the sculptures by recovering cardboard, plastic, wood. Then I cut them out, glue them and paint them to give them shape and thus build “The World Of Cans”.
