Work of art sold with a plexiglass cap for optimal rendering, but also to protect the sculpture from dust. "Compressor roller" Artist: Régis Gomez. The story of the concept "The World Of Cans": One summer day, lacking inspiration, during a walk in nature, I cross paths, fields, forests. I can only contemplate the landscape that is offered to me. Happiness came over me suddenly, immediately followed by deep sadness. I realize that my field of vision is contaminated with waste of all kinds. I realize that cans of Coca-Cola, Fanta, Red Bull and so many more dominate the natural soil of our precious planet. When I get home, my thoughts are saturated. By what I had just seen. I therefore undertake to do research on the net. While typing Coca-Cola into Google, I find all kinds of articles explaining the negative effects of soft drinks on the environment and health. An idea begins to germinate in my head. I start to draw. A few days later, the first sketches are finalized to become the common thread of a series of miniature sculptures entitled "The World Of Cans", with the aim of raising awareness and denouncing the overconsumption of cans in our society. I mainly make the sculptures by recovering cardboard, plastic, wood. Then I cut them, glue them and paint to give them shape and thus build “The World Of Cans”.
