Mi nombre completo en ingles es Raphael Perez y en hebreo Rafi Peretz
Nací en 1965 en Jerusalén, desde 1995 vivo y trabajo en Tel Aviv, mis padres emigraron a Israel desde Marruecos en 1949 y se casaron en 1950, a mi padre le encantaba el arte, escribir, dibujar, pero como tenía que mantener a 7 hijos, abandonó su amor por el arte y trabajó como recepcionista en el Hospital Hadassah Ein Kerem en Jerusalén, mi madre trabajó como niñera en una guardería para bebés y luego cuidó bebés en casa, mis 6 hermanos y hermanas trabajan en los campos de la creatividad y educación como nuestros padres
Estudié en la Facultad de Artes Visuales de la ciudad de Beer Sheva en los años 1989-1992.
