Biografia familiare Il padre di Raffaello Raphael Perez, Shimon Perez, lavorava come receptionist presso l'ospedale Hadassah Ein Kerem di Gerusalemme. Il suo grande amore era l'arte, ma come capofamiglia non poteva realizzare il suo sogno di diventare un artista. La madre di Raphael, Alice Aliza Perez, lavorava come assistente di una maestra d'asilo e in seguito si prese cura di un bambino a casa. Amava il giardinaggio e la natura e insieme al marito creò un magnifico giardino.
Raffaello ha diversi fratelli. Suo fratello maggiore David Perez si pentì quando aveva circa venticinque anni e riportò molte persone al pentimento. Sua sorella Hana Peretz ha cresciuto otto figli e ha lavorato nel campo dell'istruzione.
