He studied drawing at the School of Arts and Crafts. He expanded his pictorial training in Menorca and Valencia. During one stage of his life he worked for the Fournier company. At the end of the 1950s he traveled to France, settling in Germany at the beginning of the 1960s. In 1966 he appears installed in Tenerife. He is a member of the Canary Islands Watercolorists Group. At that time he won several awards for designing posters about the island's carnivals.
In 1976 he settled permanently in Granada, but did not leave his hometown. He repeatedly frequents Ramón Campo Cortázar's Artelarre gallery on Cuesta de San Francisco, and his regular presence as a watercolorist in the annual collectives organized by this exhibition space during the La Blanca festivities and at Christmas. Among his numerous awards in the specialty of water painting, the Second National Medal at the Madrid Autumn Salon stands out, in the 1985 edition. In addition to Vitoria, Tenerife and Granada, he has exhibited in Mallorca and Madrid, as well as in numerous other Andalusian towns (Jaén, Úbeda, Córdoba, Antequera, Almería...). Also in Germany, specifically in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, and the Bavarian capital of Munich.
The countless trips he made throughout the European continent and through the lands of Spain are appropriately endorsed in his pictorial work. A landscape painter above all, his watercolors are distinguished by the harmony and compositional balance of the scenes he deals with, qualities in keeping with the skills he exhibits as a fine draftsman. One of his last appearances on Basque soil took place in the Luis de Ajuria Room, in Vitoria, between February 25 and March 8, 2000. He participated within the group of watercolorists from Álava, dependent on the Basque Group.
