Originally from New York, Patricia spent seven wonderful years in Chicago before moving to the Pacific Northwest. Art has always been her passion and she studied art in New York at various private studios. She first ventured into fashion, theatre, and film before making photography her main and current focus all the while pursuing additional avenues career-wise.
Since she had lived in large cities, Patricia had centered her photography mainly on city life, people, and florals before moving to the Pacific Northwest - Washington. As she drove from Chicago to Washington, the wonderful rural scenes prompted her to expand her portfolio to include landscapes.
Patricia's images do often focus mainly on realism in color and black and white, but she experiments with different dimensions, especially impressionism, using special artistic techniques. She also has a watchful eye on the old masters' use of lighting.
She has won numerous awards, had one-person shows, appeared in print and, before COVID, exhibited regularly at various art galleries in the United States and in Europe. Patricia has created artwork that is public art and is on exhibit in Seattle's International District. Since COVID she mainly exhibits online.
