Being a Jew, he was carefully put in a basket and left on the water of the Nile, to his fate.
He was found and adopted by the eldest Pharaoh's daughters.
After years, Moses should have become the pharaoh of Egypt, being the greatest grandson of Pharaoh at that time.
However, finding out that he was of another blood, Pharaoh asked to be punished, but Moses managed to escape and save himself.
Pavel Obreja is a contemporary Moldovan sculptor. Obreja pursued his education at an arts college in Chisinau, and afterward, he earned a master's degree at the Academy of Music, Theater, and Visual Arts. It was his strong inclination towards geometric shapes and contours that sparked his passion for sculpture. Within his collection, one can discover not only portraits of composers and writers but also chess pieces depicting various historical characters.
Since 2017, a renowned sculpture by Pavel Obreja graces the pedestrian street of Chisinau. This captivating artwork immortalizes the tender moment of two lovers meeting, becoming a well-known and cherished sight for all who pass by.
