Charlotte Tuquoi was born in Paris in an artistic environment. After studying history/art history at the Sorbonne, she worked at La Gazette de l'Hôtel Drouot as a sub-editor-journalist. Passionate about painting since always without ever having dared to take the plunge. Arrived in the South-West in Pau, she joined a small workshop where she experimented with all the techniques. In Bayonne where she now lives, she enrolled in the art school where she assiduously practices drawing workshops, live models, oil painting techniques. Since 2013 and the creation of Pastels et Velours, she has painted only dry pastels, mainly animals, domestics, work, income, production... after having started by painting frogs. Children at the beach also inspire her a lot.
