I was born in Reims in 1981. After pursuing studies in art history, I was naturally led to start painting. The Renaissance has long inspired me, especially those scenes from ‘Mother to Child’. Then, the purity as well as the colorfulness of the colors of Fauvism entered into my artistic life. Curve and sphere intervened early in my research, so these figures were linked to a theme that is dear to me: motherhood. From Brancusi to Giacometti, I have traveled in contemporary art, privileging the deep and intimate feelings of the characters. From then on, expressiveness is part of my paintings, whatever is the nature of the character of the Tree or the portrait that since 2016 occupies a large place in my painting. I mix several techniques: collage, painting, just like the musical instruments composing an orchestra, another field of inspiration for me. It is the staging of an aesthetic spectacle that remains the imperious condition of my art.
