My abstract or figurative work is oriented towards movement. I like to try different materials – paper, structural gels – and associate them. Matter, colors, forms allow me to express a feeling and to share it.
The abstract permits me to engage in a projection of my idea or emotion without the mediation of an object, simply working with my passion. Music, rhythm, and nature all have an important role in my work, and my experience of teaching young children has enriched my imagination. Fundamentally, I look for balance, for harmony of shapes and colors. I seek to reach the essential, to leave an energetic and diversified trace. To show life, and nature in its harmonious aspects, ephemeral and fragile. To liberate my imagination and that of my viewers. I paint, and then I look, and I allow the paint to show me the way.
