I am a French-American artist living in Chicago with my cat, Zoé, a significant inspiration source. Previously trained in law, I discovered a profound passion for the arts after relocating from Paris to Chicago. I enrolled in graphic art classes to delve into the depths of visual expression. Although graphic art helped me realize my love for visual art, I found its limitations too restrictive and yearned for complete artistic freedom. The graphic art resembled a swimming pool, while the ocean represented the limitless expanse of creative expression I craved. I desired the autonomy to explore, escape the familiar, and freely express my emotions and visions of a different world. I wanted to go deep beyond what I learned; I wanted to feel. So, I started to bring some doodling to life. I began to paint them big and to give them an identity. Some motifs, such as small heads, large hands, silhouettes, flowers, birds, dots, strange creatures, and other unidentified shapes, naturally appeared. But this is when I dived into the marvelous world of colors that my art took another turn. I felt a sense of completion when I could combine the fluid lines with the bold shapes and the expressive power of colors. Wassily Kandinsky reminded us that color and shapes can resonate directly with the soul.

While I don’t seek out set themes, my art naturally embodies generosity, love, humor, music, fantasy, passion, and spirit. My paintings showcase powerful emotions, vibrant colors, and thoughtful expressions of human complexity. These themes seem ingrained in my creative process. My work reflects my inner world and my unique perspective on life. My paintings' presence of generosity, love, and humor suggests a deep appreciation for the human spirit and its capacity for joy and connection. My vivid colors add a sense of liveliness and energy to my work. My artistic approach celebrates life and the richness of the human experience. Through my art, I share my unique world vision and create a space for others to contemplate, feel, and connect with the essence of my creative expression. My paintings are not merely images but gateways to emotions and contemplations that resonate with the hearts of those who behold them.
