The owl is a mysterious bird. This bird is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge among different nationalities. The ancient Greeks depicted an owl next to the Olympian goddess Athena - the goddess of wisdom and military tactics.
The owl is a mysterious bird. She is considered the personification of wisdom and a guide to other worlds. Such beliefs have developed because of her appearance and habits. Shaggy, with big thoughtful eyes, she lives and hunts at night. In ancient Rome, owls were even feared, it was believed that they, with their unlike other voices, portend trouble. However, watching the owl longer, people saw a good sacred meaning in it. Since then, the amulet-again began to accompany the priests and sorcerers in their affairs.
They believed that the bird helps them to become more receptive to the surrounding energy, to open the gift of clairvoyance, to protect them from the evil eye. And nowadays the owl, as a talisman, has not lost popularity. Perhaps that is why owls fit so well into fantasy worlds, for example, in the Harry Potter series of books and films.

Nadezhda Kokorina is an artist, a wood carver.
For 15 years she worked as a design artist in a unique Creative workshop in the city of Serov at a metallurgical plant. She drew, carved souvenirs from wood, elements of church decoration, together with the workshop workers made iconostases for churches. She has participated in numerous city and regional exhibitions and projects. She has held two solo exhibitions in the city of Serov.
She worked in the field of graphic design, as well as as a layout designer for an advertising magazine.
2017-2019-headed the historical and industrial Museum of PJSC Nadezhdinsky Metallurgical Plant in the city of Serov. Profession-specialist in exposition and exhibition activities. She conducted excursions in the museum and at the factory. She participated in projects, spoke at conferences, regional forums, the city Arbat, held numerous exhibitions and thematic events.
At the moment, I have two of my own channels on YouTube, where I share my creativity with the whole world! I show the processes of creating my works, present master classes in drawing, wood carving, wool felting.
