From the figurative of my origins, I threw my colors at the border of the abstract following my meeting with my husband, an amateur sportsman who sails in regattas in the Mediterranean. Thus, water has become my main “source” of inspiration. It shines with colors to suddenly calm down as if time were working for more serenity. Then, the water absorbs my colors as much as the thoughts for a total letting go, leaving only the uncertain image of a forest, an uninhabited city or the ghostly presence of boat masts to reflect. Everywhere streams loneliness but not abandonment, loneliness in the face of our own reflection... our own future. Sometimes, a single color imposes itself barely disturbed by a crack or the foliage of a tone-on-tone shadow and reveals the concentration of the life of the painting. My painting denounces nothing, criticizes nothing. It immerses you in yourself... when a connection is established at first sight.
