details of the tree itself. The viewer sees a dense green array with glimmers of light in
rare windows between trunks or spruce legs. We see something completely different
in winter, when the curves of trunks, breaks in heavy branches, and bunches of
needles are drawn, covered with a white gradient of snow. And the majestic giants
stand without sound, and only the smell of frosty ringing whiteness creeps.
Somewhere in the height, a squirrel caught a snow cap with a bright spark and
with a dull hoot the snow fell into a snowdrift, leaving behind a small blizzard of
snowflakes.
Bluish shadows on the untouched snow crawl after the rising, dawn, cold sun.
Here and there, under the fir trees, you can see crumbs of spruce cones gutted by
crossbills. And only a woodpecker dares to break the tight silence with a dull wooden
tapping. You try to find this healer of the forest on a dare, and when you find it, you
stare ridiculously at an unsuspecting bird for a couple of minutes.
And here I will leave you to admire the majestic snowy taiga, and I myself will
return to my little hut and put firewood in the stove.

Yulia Zhdanovich, a contemporary Belarusian artist, embarked on her artistic journey with a passion for drawing that manifested as early as the second grade of her comprehensive school. During her work on pop art portraits, Yulia began experimenting with mixing colors for the background, delving into the intricacies of color theory and shades. Starting with pairs of colors, she gradually progressed to explore the magic of the tricolor palette, expanding her artistic repertoire and honing her craft.
