I am Miguel Donguy, a Parisian artist passionate about art in all its forms. My artistic journey began in 1992 with training in ADVERTISING DRAWING in Paris, supplemented by sketching lessons from live models at the BEAUX-ARTS. In 1993, I had the chance to train in ANIMATION DRAWING with Philippe BEZIAT, a talented animator from Walt DISNEY Studios, who profoundly influenced my artistic approach.
In 1995, during the "EXCALIBUR" internship led by the architect and painter Bernard HÉLOUA - GRIMALDI, I discovered mural art by creating my first fresco, "Pile et face," a trompe l'oeil of 75 square meters in Bondy. This experience was decisive and opened the way to fruitful collaborations with Bernard.
In 2000, I founded the LIGNE de MIRE association, focused on community artistic projects. In 2002, my appointment as ART MEDIATOR for the city policy of Paris 13th was an exceptional opportunity to use art as a vehicle for bringing people together.
In 2002, a new fresco led me to Cachan, where I established my residence. In 2010, I married Eugene KIM, a Korean fashion designer, who enriched my artistic perspective.
In 2008, I joined the “Chemins D’art de Cachan,” a professional artistic collective that nourished my creativity.
Over the years, I have created more than forty FRESCOES, solo or in collaboration, while leading drawing courses and joining the comic collective "54." My mural work has been exhibited in prestigious places, such as the Casino Lucien BARRIÈRE in Saint Malo and the Christiane PEUGEOT gallery in Paris.
More recently, I illustrated a collection for "Cultures du CŒUR" and I prepare animation sessions based on the creations of COLLECTIVE PAINTINGS and raising awareness of COPYRIGHT.
Today, I am turning to new artistic challenges in partnership with the CNL and VALOPHIS. My artistic journey reflects my commitment to art as a way to bring people together and create authentic connections. I hope that my works continue to inspire and enrich the artistic community and beyond.
