Bei diesem Gemälde dreht sich alles um Licht und Schatten. Durch die Abdunkelung des Umraumes und Beleuchtung der Figur von links vorn, wird die Aufmerksamkeit des Betrachters auf die Körperhaltung und die Bewegung gelenkt.
Als perspektivlose Draufsicht ist das Gemälde in jede Richtung drehbar und daher auch, wie bei allen Draufsichten des Künstlers, an allen 4 Ecken signiert. This painting is all about light and shadow. By darkening the surrounding space and lighting the figure from the front left, the viewer's attention is drawn to the posture and movement.
As a top view without perspective, the painting can be rotated in any direction and is therefore signed on all four corners, as is the case with all top views by the artist.
