Introducing my latest oil painting on canvas, a poignant portrayal titled "ALWAYS STRONG." Within the strokes of my brush lies a profound story, a narrative woven around an aged yet venerable tugboat resting proudly on the pier. It's more than a painting; it's an ode to resilience, a celebration of strength that transcends the passage of time.
In the heart of this artwork lies the tale of a tugboat, a maritime relic that, despite the wear and tear etched into its rusty metal, commands respect and admiration. The name "ALWAYS STRONG" encapsulates the essence of this story—a ship that has weathered the tides of time with unwavering fortitude. It's a sentiment that resonates deeply with sea lovers, those who understand the enduring spirit of vessels and the stories they carry.
I've sought to convey a universal truth through this painting—the idea that, much like people, ships follow their own unique paths and age gracefully. Yet, amidst the wrinkles of rust and the patina of time, the tugboat stands tall, refusing to entertain thoughts of weakness or obsolescence. It's a powerful reminder never to underestimate one's strength, to embrace the challenges, and to navigate the currents of life with resilience.
Three symbolic elements converge in this composition. The rusty metal, caught in the play of backlight, serves as a testament to the enduring nature of this tugboat. Bathed in the glow of a bright sun against the oversea sky, the vessel becomes a giant, standing in the rays of eternal glory. This painting pays homage to the memory of those who created, served, and continue to love this majestic tugboat—an artistic tribute to its enduring legacy.
As you gaze upon "ALWAYS STRONG," you're not just witnessing a scene; you're immersed in a visual narrative that transcends the canvas. It's an invitation to reflect on strength, perseverance, and the timeless beauty found in vessels that have weathered the storms and sailed through the pages of history.
Bring home a piece of maritime history and the indomitable spirit of the sea with "ALWAYS STRONG." Let its story resonate in your space, and may it serve as a reminder that strength is not merely a momentary feat but a perpetual force that withstands the test of time.

I was born in 1964, in Kyiv, Ukraine. I live and work in Ukraine. Architect-artist by profession. He received his education at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (KDHI 1988). As a certified architect, I practice in Ukraine, cooperating with international architectural companies. I work in the format of my own architectural bureau. As an artist, I practice traditional drawing techniques, the author's palette knife painting technique.
My passion for ships and boats has been with me throughout my life. That is why, having an academic art education, as a marine artist, I prefer marine themes in my work. My artistic creativity is a picturesque story about unique ships, vessels, boats that are in the service of man. The presentation includes several picturesque series, canvases of different genre and thematic focus. Presented: romantic seascape, industrial landscape, historical reconstruction in thematic series: STEEL GIANTS, MUSEUM SHIPS, FISHING BOATS, LIGHTHOUSES... For me, they are living beings, each with its own character. They say that there is a lot of steel and masculine energy in my marine series. So it's true! Dynamic design, contours of hulls, majestic superstructures of tankers, cruisers, steamships, sailboats, fishing boats - everything has aesthetically finished forms that have always inspired marine artists! My marine painting is a tribute to sailors, ships, engineers, volunteers, and everyone who served and continues to serve in the navy.
