abundance (2022) Painting by Marina Zykova

As a child, she graduated from the Surikov Art School, studied architecture at the university and painting, and worked as an art teacher in Russia and Turkey for 37 years. I lived in Russia for 50 years and have been living in Turkey in sunny Alanya for 7 years, which influenced my creative potential. I like to paint in oils in the classicism style. Sea, landscapes, portraits, still lifes. My style was influenced by my first education at the children's school named after. V. Surikova. I created a program for the development of children's fine arts. In 2010, I was awarded the title of Honored Education Worker. I periodically exhibit my paintings at the Alanya Cultural Center. In my work, I give more preference to oil painting. I really like to paint seascapes, because I live on the Mediterranean Sea. I think that my paintings will bring joy to you and will always decorate your home.
