Laurence Toro is a contemporary French sculptor and designer. A few years ago, concrete revealed itself to the artist. This material fascinates her not just because of the constraints it imposes, but also because of the numerous creative possibilities it provides.
Each piece, whether it's a set of spherical concrete lamps or a female bust, is an adventure since the material leads her to a creative and reflective universe whose thread unravels as the construction progresses.
