Lino Scerbo Artist for passion. Born in 1959, at the age of 16 he attended Lino Tardia's studio in Rome for two years, experimenting with styles and techniques with the attentive support of the master. After a break related to communication studies, he resumed painting incessantly with the birth of his daughter Sara in 1989. In 1991 he executed "La Paternità" and "La Donna in Rosso", 100x100 oil on panel works (private collection) with one markedly figurative impressionist style. He participated in various exhibitions and competitions throughout Italy from 1991 to 2000 with a series of paintings of women. In 2011 he experimented with the material with the prevailing subject "Trees in the snow" often mono or bi-chromatic using touches of gold. From 2021 he began to experiment with different techniques and styles, landing on acrylic on canvas and producing incessantly. His art has become his life's focus, producing commissioned portraits and paintings. In addition, she expressed her sensitivity on important issues such as the freedom struggle of Iranian women and the suffering of Ukrainian women during the war. In recent years Lino Scerbo has been experimenting with Pop-Art by researching and experimenting with new techniques and evolving his style.
