« A fleur de ciel » est une linogravure originale, imprimée à la main, numérotée et signée. Elle est vendu ici avec son encadrement (mais vous pouvez me contacter si vous souhaitez avoir un exemplaire de cette linogravure sans encadrement).
Son édition est limitée à 15 exemplaires seulement.

Encre(s) : Noir de Mars et Noir de Carbonne, pour une nuance délicate entre le ciel et la terre.
Taille du motif : 15 x 15 cm environ
Taille et type de papier : Papier Fabriano Academia 200g sans acide de 20 x 20 cm
Taille et nature de l'encadrement : Cadre noir mat de 30 x 30 cm, avec un passe-partout blanc associé d'ouverture 20 x 20 cm.

··· Histoire de la série ···

J'ai commencé la série des reliefs à la suite d'un voyage en Ecosse, marqué par la nature des paysages et les effets de la lumière sur ces derniers.

··· Processus ···

La linogravure consiste à dessiner un motif sur une plaque de linoléum, puis à venir creuser la matière à l'aide de gouges pour y graver le négatif sur dessin. Dans mon cas, je peux partir d'un dessin original ou d'une photographie prise en amont et réinterprétée.
Une fois le motif gravé, il reste à déposer l'encre sur le support et à venir presser, à la main, une feuille de papier sur ce dernier. Cette étape est assez technique dans le cas de cette linogravure imprimée en très peut d'exemplaire car il s'agit d'un équilibre de pression à trouver, entre les deux parties du motif, pour que le ciel se détache suffisamment du relief montagneux.
C'est un processus physique, qui prend du temps, mais qui en vaut la peine !

Chaque pièce étant imprimée à la main, il peut y avoir quelques écarts dans l'application de l'encre et l'image imprimée. C'est le petit truc en plus d'une œuvre d'art imprimée à la main et qui rend chacune de ces pièces unique, avec leur propre caractère !
