ELEPHANT, Wall sculpture: Abstract surrealist assemblage that reminds of an Elephant head, with trembling ears and a little trunk.

This is a genuine one of a kind art piece

Cosé started the piece hammering a convex shape out of re-used aluminum and then Anne took over to make an assemblage in DaDa tradition.
The convex hammered shape got a curly cast iron ‘trunk’ which Anne mounted on a wooden frame. Then she added translucent undulated panels, with the same undulated ‘waves’ as the hammered convex shape. When she had roughly finished the composition, Anne plated the elephant's face and trunk randomly with 22k goldleaf to give the composition extra color and depth. And what had begun as an abstract shape finally turned Elephant...

The colors of the assemblage (white, dark grey, silver, gold and transparent) combine beautifully in a modern as well as classical environment. And its abstracted Elephant shape will surely add some humor.

You can hang the assemblage with the side panels open or closed. It has a trim at the back to hang it easily.
