Kirill Shevchenko is a contemporary artist who grew up in the resort city of Kislovodsk, where the vibrant atmosphere, life, and natural beauty shaped him as an artist. Surrounded by sun, flowers, and gardens, Shevchenko developed a deep passion for capturing these elements in his work.

In the late 1990s, Kislovodsk National Park hosted a year-round exhibition of paintings by local artists. This inspired Shevchenko to start painting at an easel, and he eventually joined the group of local artists, exhibiting his work for nearly a decade. This open-air creative workshop was instrumental in honing his skills and nurturing his love for painting flowers in bright sunlight.

Due to the situation in his home country, Shevchenko relocated to Montenegro, where he was able to rekindle his joyful creativity. He hopes that his paintings bring the beauty of nature and the warmth of sunshine into people's homes, offering comfort and joy.

Shevchenko primarily works with acrylics and has experimented with batik and airbrush techniques. His art aims to warm the soul and infuse life with more joy through the vivid portrayal of natural elements.
