My name is Kascho and I am a self-taught artist from Aachen. I am inspired by the expressive color worlds of the German artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and the American artist LeRoy Neiman. I paint expressive, colorful portraits of well-known personalities myself.
It is by no means my aim to create exact images of reality. What is felt is painted - not what is seen. So it's not the outside of a person that's shown, but rather the person's personality.
I'm looking for creative adventure. After successfully completing a master's degree in Legal Psychology with a publication, I decided to work full-time as an artist.
With spatula and brush, my paintings are created spontaneously, out of feeling. No picture is planned, each is a new creative adventure. When the feeling is there, a picture paints itself and the result is a surprise - for me too.
