The painting is performed in soothing balanced tones and reflects a contemplative attitude as one of the stages of creation. Creativity is a combination of observation and meditation, reflection, creative alchemy and the direct expression of an idea followed by contemplation and peace again. Thus, the painting is cyclical: peace, then inspiration, activity — and peace again. This piece is focused on itself showing a constant creative process, creative endeavour.

I come from one of the harshest region of Russia — Siberia where cold, snow and savage scenery create special living conditions. It was the beauty of local landscapes that has impressed me since my childhood and has inspired me to express my feelings through painting.
It is the abstract manner of painting that forms the space where each viewer will find his or her own meaning and open his or her understanding. Each piece is a world. The world of feelings, emotions, moods. My artworks reveal layers of memories, evoke a response deep inside in the most secret places of our being.
These pieces are beyond the recognizable forms so you can assign your own meaning to them. After all, the main thing is freedom — freedom of expression, freedom of understanding, freedom from form. This idea of freedom runs through all of my paintings.
