Juan Carlos Norero Borguenson, artistic name Norero, painter and engraver. He was born in 1960 in Punta Arenas, Chile.

He studied at the University of Nohant, Omaha, United States where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in 1984. He continued his art studies at the University of Nohant in Hamburg, Germany, where he obtained the degree of Doctor of Color in 1994. He has not only focused in painting but also in anthropology and mythology studies.

Visual Strategy. He works mixed painting on canvas and paper and engraving techniques in different formats, his imagery is committed to mythology, Cretan, Egyptian and Mayan art, through semi-figurative and abstract images that suggest religious symbols, dreams or hallucinations, men, fantastic machines and strange animals. His drawings are fused with spots and lines. His painting is agile, with forms chained to each other without an apparent relationship, the artist refers to it as Norarian Art, alluding to the use of his extensive knowledge of graphics, languages, universal art, symbols, writings, and a self-referential universe that points to ideas about the unification of the world.
In 1996 he began working on robotic sculptures of human forms, turning to waste materials, wood and colorful pigments. These are close to kinetic art by turning them into a kind of giant toys with lights and electrical systems.
