Geometrix 2 Sculpture by Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez is a contemporary French sculptor whose life journey has been closely intertwined with artistic expression. At the age of twenty, he embarked on a path in interior decoration while simultaneously delving into musical creation.

Driven by a burgeoning passion, Hernandez found himself captivated by ceramics and the raku firing technique, immersing himself fully in the craft within his own workshop. Dissatisfied with the limitations of traditional turning techniques, he gravitated towards the "on the plate" creation method and stamping.

In recent years, Hernandez has embarked on a personal quest, exploring the realm of earthen sculptures imbued with patina effects through an initial biscuit firing process. His creations evoke a sense of timeless emotion, with organic sculptures that seem to transcend the boundaries of time itself.
