Jérôme Chuilon studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Versailles. He presented his works on the occasion of the Confluences exhibition at the Lambinet museum in June 2015, as well as at the Galerie de l'Ecole des Beaux Arts in 2021 and at the Sensorielles collective engraving exhibition in Guyancourt in 2022.

His pictorial research is based on the notion of disfiguration, that is to say the alterations in the appearance of the body or the face, which sometimes make the individual unrecognizable.

Jérôme Chuilon is also experimenting with the potential of a new medium, the digital tablet.

He has thus created digital prints which show pulverized human faces without contours, but to which the contrast with the background on which they appear confers a persistent and enigmatic presence.

Jérôme Chuilon's expressionist touch also tends to distort reality in order to provoke confusion among his spectators.
