Originally representing the Jungian psychological archetypes of the anima/female principle and animus/male principle, each shows a silhouette of a person holding the power of authenticity in their hands, their most valuable resource. It casts a safety aura around them. Later in my life, I made a reference to astrological symbolism, where the duo can be viewed as the 2021 Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, that happens roughly every 20 years, exploring how freedom of authenticity can only be sustained in the safety of personal boundaries.
