The epic story of this sketch in my little travel sketchbook, which is just made to be an episode of some romantic movie...
๐ฝ
After a day that was too warm for October, in the evening, an incredible wind arose, a wind that swept away the feet and brought a storm and storm!๐ The sea roared, waves and downpour flooded the square, gondolas were thrown, cracked and hit the shore.
We hid in the walls of the colonnade of St. Mark's Basilica and arranged ourselves on its stone benches. I took out my small sketchier travel book, which travels with me everywhere, a travel pencil case with watercolors and while the storm is raging around, I wrote the pink lights of San Marco piazza
The sketchbook pages got a little wet while we ran around the square afterwards

Watercolor artist, travel sketcher, teacher, art therapist. She was born and lives in Ukraine, Chernivtsi.
Since childhood, she followed her dream - to become an artist. While studying at the university to become an interior designer, she was most interested in the history of art, painting and composition.
After working as a graphic designer, Ira realized that she needed live techniques and hand-made materials. He enthusiastically experiments with all available graphic and painting media (acrylic, pastel, gouache, charcoal, ink, markers and pencils, etc.) and surfaces (paper, cardboard, canvas, glass, sandpaper). But she stops at watercolor, admiring its lightness, fluidity, transparency, unpredictability and independence. In watercolor, the artist finds her own traits.
Feeling the desire and readiness to share knowledge, she founded the first watercolor studio ยซArtstudio_cvโ in the city. Now Ira is the art teacher and volunteer-art therapist.
Striving to be an example for students, she never stops learning and creating new projects.
Inspired by travels, sea adventures and the beautiful old architecture of her hometown, she creates bright, saturated, open, pure colors, landscapes. Her works are a symbol of the celebration of life, will, joy and admiration for the world she has seen.
