Born with both feet rooted in the Mediterranean, he spent his childhood exploring the underwater landscapes of the Calanques of Marseille, Cassis, and Corsica. While these underwater journeys introduced him to the silent world beneath the waves, they also exposed him to the vibrant colors and abundant life that thrived in the depths.

Even today, many years later, Hervé finds himself deeply connected to the emotions evoked by the sea. Despite the inexhaustible energy he finds in mountain landscapes, he inevitably returns to the waters that shaped his early experiences.
