The cupolas at the top of these austere architectures, without openings, protected, are reminiscent of the Orient, like the warm colors of the rock set ablaze by this late afternoon. A few clouds invisible in the image cast their shadows on the top of the island. The sea is so calm that the whole image plunges us into a gentle tranquillity, we almost forget that the image is constructed, created from scratch. The shape of the rock to the left of the image, marries the shape of the island in a remarkable way creating a formal relationship.
