I was inspired to create this abstract image by a visit to the dentist. Whilst I was in the dentist's chair I noticed the large plastic panels on the ceiling - the ones with lots of little knobs and dimples - and I realised that a photo of one of the panels would be perfect for me to post process digitally into a textured abstract.

I was inspired to create this abstract image by a visit to the dentist. Whilst I was in the dentist's chair I noticed the large plastic panels on the ceiling - the ones with lots of little knobs and dimples - and I realised that a photo of one of the panels would be perfect for me to post process digitally into a textured abstract.
The finished image has a real 3D quality and is proving to be very popular with viewers.
