"Искусство Галины Кара, как совокупность найденных в нём настроений, жанровых предпочтений, стилистических подходов, можно увидеть в качестве любопытной комбинации разнонаправленных аспектов творчества. Его обращённость к личному, внутреннему для художника кругу смыслов говорит об определённой камерности авторского взгляда и авторского высказывания. Вместе с тем, такая избирательность, своеобразная интровертная замкнутость сочетается с обобщённостью изобразительного языка, экспрессией и энергичностью выражения. Практически любое изображение, создаваемое художником, будь то графический лист, или живопись маслом на холсте – несёт на себе печать быстроты воплощения, восходит к острому эскизному рисованию, принципиально сосредоточенному на расстановке основных композиционных вех, своего рода ритмической пунктуации.
Галина Кара график от природы, прежде всего – рисовальщик. Поэтому всё, что она делает, независимо от размера, – это рисунок. Её стихия – краски на водной основе, её главный материал – бумага. Любая. По которой, оставляя живой контур, ползёт толстый маркер, чиркают (чирикают) карандаши, шуршит остриё пастели, а кисть, беспрестанно погружаемая в акварель или тушь, движется без всякого порядка. Однако каким-то образом все эти следы и прикосновения оказываются организованы и не случайны. Их стихия осмыслена и подчиняется воле мастера."
