François Malnati is a contemporary French painter. He is a dedicated still life painter who uses pastels, oil paints, and watercolors to create figurative realistic works. His work has been the subject of many publications, in particular the American magazine SPLASH.
Malnati exhibits worldwide and has won numerous prizes and distinctions, including: 2nd prize Art du Pastel en France 2013; special prize for outstanding composition, Salon du Pastel en Bretagne 2014; special prize for Still Life painting, Montréal 2015; Finalist in ASPAS (Spanish Pastel Society) competition 2017 and Foundation Taylor's Maxime Juan Prize 2018, Paris Grand Palais.
François Malnati was born in 1950, in France. He is a member of the Pastel Society of America and of Les Pastellistes de France.
