Thinking about what Mars would be like if he was a modern man, the first thing that came to my mind was a racer. He would recklessly ride around on his ladder, getting pleasure from anything dangerous.
Mars is the god of war, courage and fertility, the lord of vegetation, he has the power to increase everything, both cruelty and fear, as well as fertility and prosperity. God of wild nature, everything unknown, and dangerous, which was fraught with a threat. He could ruin the harvest, cause the death of livestock, but more often he protected livestock, did not allow crop failures. He has two faces, gentle and kind and cruel, knowing no mercy. Mars instills fear in anger, but also gives courage even to the weakest. He endows with the ability to subjugate people and control them.

He has two main symbols that I tried to convey through the painting: a spear and a chariot. He is constantly on the move, he drives his charioteer with unimaginable speed. From a symbolic point of view, a spear can be compared with a branch, tree, cross, and also with the designation of spatial orientation, and therefore I represent him precisely as a racer and not as a representative of another dangerous sport, although I think he would not have given up on them either. Also, one of the hidden symbols number 27 on the helmet, the number of Mars that gives most of the Martian features.

Intellectually, Mars fills human beings with activity, sensitivity and thirst for action. Without the influence of this spirit, mankind would not have advanced in science, or in labor, or in art. Tirelessness and thirst for victory - here is the engine that pushes us on new and new achievements.

There are times in life when there is no strength for action and movement, I would like you to feel passion, excitement and interest to life, more energy when you look at this picture.
