1952 born in Ulm (Germany)

High School, language studies
Professional career in the Export Market and as a translator and interpreter in France and Germany.
1983-1989 birth of the 4 children.
1989-1993 different painting courses, workshops, art studies with different teachers, intensive auto-didactical art work. Up to this date I was primarily painting in one particular, rather realistic style - the watercolour painting (Aquarell).

1995-1996 Professional Art Education at the Kolping Art Academy in Stuttgart.
I fully enjoyed experimenting with a variety of new materials and techniques and creating now abstract art pieces in acrylic and mixed media by fully exploring my artistic abilities. So, I started my career as an abstract contemporary artist and was very passionated about discovering the wide range of possibilities, experimenting and finally developing my own style in a special technique. I like to use natural materials such as sand (ocher sand from Provence) earth, plant parts. The elements earth - water - light are central topics in my artwork and various series of paintings have been created in the past years, such as "Genesis", "body language", "body landscapes" etc. which were shown in different exhibitions in Germany, France, Switzerland.

My art studio is in Southern France, where I spent most of the time in the year, being inspired by the marvellous landscape of the Provence and it's way of life.

Since 1992 different exhibitions in Germany, France and Switzerland.
