Eva KHATCHADOURIAN is a young artist from the Paris region. The seminar entitled 'Experience and thought of spatiality', which she followed for several years, gave her the opportunity to question our relationship to buildings but also to space less tangible. In her new territory of investigation, she integrates into the Parisian artistic fabric, after her DNSEP obtained at the Ecole Supérieur des Beaux Arts in Nîmes.

Through a practice essentially pictorial, the challenge of the work is to make two fields reason. The first is linked to the development of the motif and its relationship to the symbol. The second develops the notion of collage and superposition, to approach the spatial setting and the architectural dimension.
So questions linked to language and stories come together, nourishing the scenographic experience. The works are sometimes brought to migrate into the exhibition space and take shape in a sculptural manner at different scales. Pictorial syntax gives rise to poetry through the act of replaying, overplaying within hybrid, porous wholes. They are sometimes very grounded and stable, others completely unbalanced and levitating, creating a dreamlike dimension. These landscapes simultaneously involve ancestral images, contemporary architectures practiced by the local residents, desert atmospheres treated in the manner of 'sfumato', flat areas of bright colors which create frontal decorations and give spatial clues.

Mental space, relating to the intimate, and that of the social so-called “real space” come together to offer enigmatic visions on a subject by echoing what is shared and shareable.< /p>
