This particular work is a study of a face.
It's a rather dream-like version of a warrior and conqueror, but with a campy twist: his deel (the Mongolian headwear) is painted gold. I wanted to make him look less dangerous, almost like an actor.
Just a short final note: this particular technique – ceramics - is completely unpredictable. So due to its nature, one can never tell the final result with certainty. In other words, you can’t, even if you'd want to, get two exactly same figures. Each one is totally unique.
So, if you feel you have someone unique in your life, someone who you think deserves a unique gift, this is your place.
Don't forget: that special someone might be you.
