Decorative composition in the upcycling trend CONSTRUCTION № 6 is a story about suffering, overcoming and joy. The artistic inspiration in this case was The cut-outs by Henri Matisse. When, towards the end of his life, the artist, weakened after two operations, could no longer spend an hour at his easel, the cut-out technique enabled him to continue his creative activity. The juicy, lively collages made by the seriously ill painter fascinate in an almost childlike way with their masterful combination of colours and shapes. Following the path of creative overcoming of the finiteness of an individual story, I used my old leather handbags and gave them a new meaning and new life.
