Here is an acrylic portrait on textured paper. The figure for this painting is the great comedian, Mr. Bill Murray. I did this at the request of an old friend. Truthfully, I enjoyed painting this subject. I love Bill! I understand that my pal is planning to give this painting to her significant other, a huge Murray fan, for their birthday. I'm[...]

I have always been an artist. I developed a love for fountain pens at an early age and decided to train both hands to draw. I had heard some adults talk about a spooky thing called ‘arthritis’. I am now ambidextrous.

During my first semester of college I began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Art helped tremendously. A few of my paintings are works completed during absence seizures.

Some of my paintings come from sketches. Some of the paintings are scenes and shapes that mutate from color. The commonality is expression, I guess? The sketches themselves come from dreams and conversations. Some of these ideas have ruminated for months or years. Others happened in a flash.

I am a millennial who lives in the middle of nowhere, lurking in the dark and washing out their soup cans to recycle. I am also a digital-minimalist (We prefer soft-covers) and would rather be bowling than looking at a phone. Bowling, pulling weeds or going to the dentist. :D Really! I also have a mild (medium) case of scopophobia - Photos are a source of anxiety. Whenever someone is holding a device (It may take a photos or it may be a broken Gameboy)in my direction I throw up my hands or dive behind furniture. Priorities, right? Maybe a dozen pictures exist since college graduation, only one or two showing a face, my hands look GREAT though.

A note on my pricing: anything waaaay expensive is like that because I love it tenderly. The other creations have my love too, it's just that their price represent several student loan payments.Wanna help?
