This artwork combines the circle as one of the primary shapes with these primary colors and adds another facet: self-similarity. The circle represents the perfect geometric object par excellence: it has no edges or corners and no interior angles either; instead, the circle has an infinite number of axes, all of which run through its origin. With regard to the superposition of two circles, the intersection of two circles does not form another circle. The only exception: one circle completely encloses the second circle. Some of these inner circles were colored in the three primary colors and in white.
The artwork is available as fine art print (paper format 50 x 50 cm, print format 40 x 40 cm) on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g/m2 in a Limited Edition of 25 pieces (Hahnenmühle Certificate of Authenticity) and will be signed by the artist.
