Ink

A strongly tinted liquid or paste that is used to mark paper or other printable materials. The design is done manually with a slab, feather, brush, or straightener.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It's a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.

My name is Rupert Desforges, I was born in York, England. I am a holder a master's degree in Visual Arts from Paul Valéry Montpellier III University. I live and work in Montpellier in Hérault.

I practice several type of medium such as photography, computer graphics, drawing, as well as paint. All these practices are complementary in my world artistic. When it comes to painting on canvas, I use tools such as spray paint, airbrush, acrylic, Indian ink and different types of markers.

My artistic approach consists of calling on everything that is of the unconscious, the dream, the instinctive, the intuition and the random . When I start a painting I have no prior idea of the final result of the work and I do not use a preparatory sketch. I let myself be guided by what I project onto the canvas as my creation evolves. I had a rigorous practice of graffiti for years which led me to an uninhibited and freer artistic practice. I abstract thought to obtain a more liberated end result. Indeed, the subject that fascinates me the most is that of creative freedom, which consists of detaching oneself from the usual constraints specific to creation. However, I keep in mind that my various creations surely contain several influences; whether they are social, visual or simply unconscious.

I feel close to artistic movements such as Dadaism, Surrealism, Art Abstract, Free Figuration or even Graffiti.

I would say to conclude that " Art is absolute reality "
