Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. Cristian Lopez Rey

Argentina

Cristian López Rey was born in Hurlingham, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1984.
He's currently studying at IUNA (Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte), and he'll soon receive a Bachelor of Visual Arts. He had experimented with several techniques and different disciplines, but he had specialized in oil on canvas painting.
With his work he shows his very strong and personal point of view of the opression of the contemporary system.
López Rey is only 25 years old, so he doesn't have a vast experience in art exhibitions. He took part in collective expositions, even though he made individual exhibitions -the most important was in APPETITE art galery and Centro Cultural Borges.
