"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Self-taught, I immerse my imagination, my knives and brushes in the light and colors of my beautiful Mediterranean region, then on all the supports I find: canvases, cardboard, walls, and...mailboxes!
I mainly use acrylic for the spontaneity and lack of meticulousness it allows. And yet my inclination towards impulsive gestures, to “batchwork” as we say back home, is matched only by the meticulousness and even the obsessiveness of the details that I can inject into a painting. Thus, flat areas and pointillism sometimes embrace each other on the same canvas, or challenge each other from one painting to another.
The key words that animate my art: light, living colors, movement, and the search for new sensations.
It is not one, but two brushstrokes that define my work. Two identities, two artists: Claire V, the naive painter of mailboxes, endless fields of flowers and spring that sings. Then Claire Morand, a little more mature, who entrusts her creative instinct to the call of movement in a more modern art, expressed in the jump of skiers, in crazy races of sailboats in the wind.
There is no question of erasing one for the benefit of the other. The child and the adult coexist and collaborate in my inspiration as in life.
