Christian Eurgal is a contemporary French artist. Eurgal’s abstract landscapes evoke an endless horizon over sunlit waves. His oil paintings, which are filled with exoticism and familiar settings, stretch short-lived moments and desire us to stop time. They give nature a romantic appeal by using rich color ranges as well as contrasts. The painter chooses blue canvases or places where light is omnipresent and uses exceptional composition abilities to create a large foreground. Eurgal emphasizes his affinity for fraternity and his desire for liberty.

Christian Eurgal was born in 1948, in France. He is a member at several academies: Européenne des Arts, Fine Arts International in Quebec, la Société Académique Arts  - Sciences - Lettres and member of the Taylor Foundation, French national council for plastic arts UNESCO.  Eurgal is a President of the Association of Arts Montjoi and a chevalier of the National Order of Arts and Letters.
