Chantal was born in 1947 in the suburbs of Paris. She settled in Normandy, with her family in 1980, and created a breed of Scottish terrier dogs.

She only started painting in 2008. She had enrolled in a naive painting course during the Naive Art exhibition in Verneuil sur Avre. It was a revelation for her!

Since then she has developed a passion for naive painting. She likes to paint old houses (that of Monnet in Giverny for example) as well as pretty castles. On her paintings always appears a small black Scottish Terrier breed that she has raised for more than 40 years.

She is the co-organizer of the annual exhibition Le Rendez-Vous des Naïfs in Verneuil d'Avre and Iton.

She has participated in several exhibitions in France and abroad.
