Cette vue du Manhattan Bridge à partir de Brooklyn a été immortalisée par l’affiche du film « il était une fois en Amérique ». C’est un morceau de l’une de mes nombreuses photos de NYC. L’énergie de ce lieu ainsi que cette fameuse perspective ne pouvait que m’inspirer ici elle est déclinée avec quelques libertés dans mon interprétation.
Toile 50x50. Technique mixte, collage de photos originales intégrées dans la peinture. Ici effets de matières, peinture au couteau, encres et traits de marqueurs.

The "Once Upon a Time in America" movie poster immortalized this view of the Manhattan Bridge from Brooklyn. This is a piece of one of my numerous photos from NYC. The energy of this place as well as this famous perspective could only inspire me here. I’ve declined it with some liberties in my interpretation.
