Colmenar - Verano Painting by Carlos Coira

I have re-started oil painting, only a few years ago; when I discovered that all those solvents did not smell anymore!
It was a great discovery for me, because I paint at home and some of our children still live with us. Certainly, that "solvent-atmosphere" was not a pleasant experience.
Since the very beginning, I was touched by impressionists. Now I am still trying to get my place.
During all those years back in time, I received some prizes from minor local exhibitions. That experience showed me that thousands of artists are around, many of them great painters and underestimated. However, for all of them, myself included, Internet is an amazing place to live.
