This is an acrylic painting of a cat in a geometric patchwork design. It has the appearance of looking like an ancient Egyptian cat or Sphynx. It has multicolored blocks in blue, green, black, pink, purple, gold and silver. The background is painted in a light grey tone which helps to accentuate the other colors on the canvas. This artwork is 11" x 14" and signed on the front. It comes with a certificate of authentication. An art expert with a photographic memory of all the great works of art throughout history stored in his mind, complimented one of my paintings. He said it was 'fresh, new and exciting!' Wow! At the very least, I try to create works of art that are different, unique, beautiful or interesting. Painting is my happy place. It's a peaceful, reflective process that I really enjoy. I love to paint portraits of people in their youth or what they might look like in heaven with healthy glowing skin and no visible signs of aging. I love to paint animals and birds in various styles of art. I also love to paint geometric shapes. I enjoy painting seascapes and landscapes in an impressionist style. Bob Ross is one of my favorite artists. I am enjoying the process as I continue to develop my own unique artistic perspective.
